Talking Points | Hey, What's Your Shirt Mean?

I immediately flash back to my youth in Vacation Bible School, singing "walking by faith and not by sight!" 2 Corinthians 5:7 clearly communicates to us: "for we walk by faith, not by sight." 

Walking by faith means that we fix our eyes on what is eternal, or what is unseen. Even though we cannot physically see God's promises, we stand in the firm belief of His truth. To give a more tangible example... most of us have never seen and will never see a million dollars. Just because we have never seen it, does it mean we don't believe a million dollars is real? 

This is the ultimate trust, living for the promises of God even when you cannot see Him working.
